Over the years, we have spoken with dozens of hospital administrators who have shared some of their biggest concerns in crafting a modern day healthcare environment. Creating a place that is welcoming, warm and healing is a common desire that benefits not only the patients, but the staff as well. Art is an essential element for creating a facility that fosters both healing and inspiration.
In our conversations with healthcare directors, many dread the process of going through the conventional model of acquiring art from traditional art consultants. The process of sifting through endless internet sites, frame stocks and piecing together a collection is daunting and tiresome. The end result can often be mundane, status quo and forgettable.
