For those of you who have been following my photography blog since the beginning, you might feel something coming… like a rainbow after a good storm.
It kind of felt like this last January, when we had one of our most successful launches ever. I felt like Santa! You guys were pretty stoked, and I was happy to do it.
Did you check out the black and white photography blog from last week?
Well here are 4 more options you will have to choose from – (another hint!)
Every photo has a story…
… and the good thing is that you will be able to choose the images that inspire and move you.
(Think: sets of 4 and amazing value.)
Thanks for being on this journey with me. I can’t wait to show you what’s to come!

As surfers we are so focused on the motion and energy of the waves that sometimes, in their absence, we feel lost. However, the beauty of still water is undeniable at places like Waimea Bay on the north shore. To think that the water can go from this stillness to churning pitching 10′ shore break in an matter of hours still amazes me.
There is nothing like Pipeline when the sets stack up 4 deep on the reef. This day was perhaps the best I have seen in over 2 decades of watching Pipe break. The photo captures the perfection of a perfect ride at the world famous Banzai Pipeline. Click to see my North Shore Slideshow Blog.
Being commissioned by Bruce Brown to shoot a poster shot for the sequel to Endless Summer, Endless Summer II, was a special project for me given that it was the Endless Summer that planted the inspiration for my life’s journey. This shot was done at Rock Piles on the north shore of Oahu during the filming with Wingnut and Pat O’Connell. The photo was used as the basis for the poster. Check out my blog on Endless Summer film director Bruce Brown, if you haven’t seen it already.
When you are riding in the barrel it can feel like flying. What I love about this photo is the seagull swooping down for a view of the tube. Shot on the island of Natividad off the coast of Baja, California, this photo captures the essence of surfing.
