My family and I are up in the Sierra Mountains this week at Agnew Lake, near June Mountain.
We drove all day in our RV, pulling in past dark. When we finally arrived, we were in awe of the beauty and splendor of a starlit sky.
Not only did we see millions of stars, but planets and the beauty of the Milky Way. It was a moment I will not forget.
The next day, we woke up in a green valley near a crystal clear lake with towering peaks all around us. There was even a waterfall in the distance…
A ground shaking 5.7 earthquake struck in the afternoon with tremors shaking through the night. The earth and the sky felt wild and alive…
That night, my son and his friend hiked with me 2 hours up the mountain, while we waited for the milky way to position itself perfectly in the sky.
At midnight, I captured this shot.
Moments like this make me grateful to be alive and to be able to experience this moment of majesty with our son.
… and at the end of our lives, this is what we’ll take with us and leave behind.
I’m happy to present my newest release, Touched.

Simply gorgeous! Aaron you always capture nature in all its best and all its glory and remind us that we live in a world full of wonder. You whisk us away to places of serenity. Reminding us to stop and enjoy the moment. It’s not about the destination but the journey as well. Mahalo nui loa
