Over the past month in Southern California, we have had some of the coldest temperatures on record. It’s also been an extraordinary season of rain here.
In between the waves of storms, there have been tremendous opportunities to capture the magical light of dusk at the beaches.
In fact, it’s the clouds that make the sun radiate in the sky, coloring it vibrant shades of orange, blue and slate grey.
Combine that with a big swell and you have the key ingredients for something very interesting.
I’m happy to introduce my newest release, Sapphire Swell.
It’s my hope that this photo captures the feeling of seeing the beach on a crisp, California winter’s day.
