By Aaron Chang
When I decorate my home, or work with clients to choose art to create a mood, color is instrumental in narrowing down the selection.
Saffron Sky, captured in Encinitas, CA, beautifully encapsulates the serene yet invigorating essence of a coastal sunset. Its grounded, happy vibes certainly brings life-affirming energy into your home or office.
Here’s how I unpack this special new Portrait of the Pacific:
The vibrant yellows and oranges in the sky evoke a sense of good energy and warmth. These hues also play a crucial role in enhancing our mood.
Yellow, often associated with happiness and optimism, creates a sense of exhilaration. This color draws the viewer in, creating an inviting and uplifting atmosphere. Orange, on the other hand, adds a layer of enthusiasm and passion, enhancing this effect, reflecting a lively, uplifting moment.
When paired with the neutral gray tones of the ocean, these warm colors are grounded, providing a calming contrastthat tempers their intensity. This interaction results in a visually striking yet serene image, where the energetic sky is balanced by the tranquil sea, evoking both excitement and peace…
… and my favorite part is the 7 wave lineup. That is very difficult to capture! I was excited when I processed this photo, to see that I captured this magical energy through my lens.
It’s my hope that Saffron Sky conveys the vitality and peace of this moment and helps to bring calm, grounding energy to your home.
