Witness the exceptional portrayal of a dynamic ocean, constantly shifting and transforming, set against a backdrop of a serene sky.
By Aaron Chang
The discipline of shooting and finding beauty is how I started my career. Everywhere I went I had my camera and shot everything I could, simply for the love and learning of photography.
I see this same trait in Saxon. He is out shooting in the ocean and around the coast every day -- good conditions or bad…
When Saxon presented his latest collection of work, I was in awe of the subtlety and beauty of this shot. It’s a view that most people don’t see unless they’re in the ocean every day. I have never seen an image like this in my career. Yet, I’ve seen it before myself many times in the ocean….
There is something intriguing about this photo that needed a special name. My wife Erika came up with the name Black Swan.
When we looked up Black Swan, these were some of the things it represents:
Transformation, Rebirth, Moving through difficulty into the Light. It’s also a symbol of Wisdom and represents Balance, Inner Beauty and Innocence. It also means one of a kind.
I feel like these things represent a lot of how we are collectively feeling now… in the middle of transformation and turmoil while persevering through uncertain times, finding Hope and Beauty along the way…
I’m proud to introduce Saxon’s Beautiful New Release, Black Swan.
